What Is The IPC Curriculum?

The International Preschool Curriculum (IPC) is a specialized early education curriculum that establishes foundational knowledge across 6 areas of development while promoting cultural diversity. It was designed using educational experience from several countries across the globe such as Singapore and the United Kingdom. IPC-certified preschools strive to instill your child internationally accepted standards.

Montessori teachings paired with the IPC curriculum creates a playful and curiosity-based learning environment for children to gain knowledge within the areas of:

  • Language Arts
  • Numeracy
  • Creative Arts
  • Socio-emotional Skills
  • Sciences
  • Motor Skills

The Benefits Of IPC Preschools

Comprehensive Learning

Your child deserves to learn with different tools to maximize their comprehension of the topics. The IPC curriculum provides students with different learning aids to assist their understanding of concepts in a way that works best for them.

The learning aids available to children are:

  • Workbooks
  • Flashcards
  • Worksheets

Parental Involvement

An impactful component of the IPC curriculum is parental involvement. Parental involvement ensures the student's parent is a part of their educational progress and development. Parents receive daily updates on their child’s progress within the curriculum so they understand the child’s needs and strengths.

Involving parents is also an opportunity to learn about the child's education. It provides the necessary tools and knowledge to build off their child's progress outside of the classroom, better instilling the intrinsic values of the IPC curriculum in their everyday lives.

Qualified Teachers:

The IPC curriculum is taught by teachers who receive specialized training. This training is highly distinguished and designed by a Harvard University teaching fellow. Extra formation and enhancement opportunities such as development courses and consultancy guides ensure that the teacher will always perform their duties at their peak.

All-Rounded Learning Environment:

Grey Matter’s Montessori methods allow students to learn through different methods to provide flexibility in seeking support. These methods include:

  • Teacher-directed tasks
  • Child-initiated learning
  • Peer collaboration and assistance
  • All learning procedures are done in a fashion that encourages students to use curiosity and exploration to help them evaluate their experiences meaningfully and ask questions that can build on their understanding
