Community Partners
To further enhance our students’ education and bring them unique experiences, Grey Matter Montessori has developed multiple ‘value-added programs’ to augment the already enriched Montessori and IPC curriculum at no extra cost to you! Through our continuous work with various community members, we are able to offer our students, regardless of their economic situation, unique programming including but not limited to:
- Yoga
- Dance
- Gymnastics
- Ceramics
- Martial Arts
Together, these elements allow us to give our students the very best of a well-rounded education and by involving our partners, we build bridges and support throughout the community. Some of our generous partners include: Calgary Police Services, Calgary Public Library, 4Cats, Northern Hills Dental, Illume Yoga, Soul Connexion and various health and science professionals.
At Grey Matter Montessori we believe that movement and physical activity is just as important in a preschool classroom as learning. Movement provides avenues for expression, teaches social interaction and is the foundation for learning more complex movement skills later in life. Through our committed and trusted partnerships with community members, we actively seek to develop your child’s motor skills, self-esteem and lay the foundation for healthy habits and a happy mind.
