If your child is interested in space, spends time with barbie dolls, or plays with cars and trucks, implement these interests into their learning. For instance, you can read books together about the wonders of space or learn about numbers by counting and sorting toy trucks. This will show your child that learning can be fun and that it is involved with everything that they do.
Share Your Enthusiasm For Learning
If your child sees that you are involved and enthusiastic about what they are learning, that enthusiasm will rub off on them. Whether it is math, science, language arts, or history, show your child that learning is an exciting journey filled with new discoveries. Your child will be excited that you are excited about learning, which will motivate them to keep exploring their interests and new topics both in school and at home.
