Built by a Parent Searching for Something Better
Grey Matter Montessori was founded from a deeply personal experience.
When Founder and Director Shirin Rayani began searching for preschool and childcare options for her own daughter, she quickly realized that many programs offered only pieces of what she believed children truly needed during their early developmental years.
Some programs focused heavily on academics but lacked nurturing care. Others provided childcare support without creating strong educational foundations. Very few offered a balanced approach that considered the whole child emotionally, socially, physically, and academically.
That experience inspired the creation of Grey Matter Montessori.
Today, Grey Matter Montessori proudly provides Calgary families with a higher standard of Montessori preschool and daycare education designed to help children become confident learners, independent thinkers, and compassionate individuals.
